# Tips and notes travellers wrote about a place — the user's own notes, friends' friends-only notes and community tips — w

`POST /actions/get_place_notes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://findinghorizons.ca/api/v1`

- Auth: OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://findinghorizons.ca/api/mcp/authorize`, token URL `https://findinghorizons.ca/api/mcp/oauth/token`, scopes: `places:read`)

Tips and notes travellers wrote about a place — the user's own notes, friends' friends-only notes and community tips — with each author's @username, when it was posted, an edited mark, the tip type and any time window. Pass pointId (one of the user's saved places) or placeId (a Google place id). A tip is someone's observation, not verified fact.

## Request body

- object
  - `pointId` string: One of the user's saved places (from get_my_points).
  - `placeId` string: A Google place id.
  - `today` string: The traveller's own date, YYYY-MM-DD, where the action needs one

## Response `200`

Done — { ok, api, action, result, card, operation? }

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad body / missing Idempotency-Key
- `401`: No or invalid token
- `403`: Scope not granted
- `422`: The action said no
- `429`: Rate limited
