# Remove Company from Watchlist

`DELETE /watchlist/companies/{company_id}/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.financialreports.eu`
- URL: `https://api.financialreports.eu/watchlist/companies/{company_id}/`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

**Access Level Required:** Requires **Standard Access (Level 1)**.

Removes a specified company from the authenticated user's watchlist using the `company_id` from the URL path.

## Path parameters

- `company_id` integer, required

## Response `200`

Company successfully removed from the watchlist.

- WatchlistResponse
  - `status` string, required: Indicates the status of the operation (e.g., 'success', 'error').
  - `message` string, required: A human-readable message describing the outcome.
  - `company_id` integer: The ID of the company related to the action, if applicable.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication credentials were not provided or are invalid.
- `403`: Forbidden. The watchlist is locked by an administrator.
- `404`: Not Found. The company either does not exist or was not in the user's watchlist.
- `429`: Rate limit, plan quota or spend cap reached.
