# Get income statement segments

`GET /financials/income-statements/segments`

## Request

Get income statement segment breakdowns (revenue, operating income, depreciation) by product and business segment.

    - `fiscal_period` string: The fiscal period (e.g., Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, FY).

    - `currency` string: The reporting currency (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP).
    - `accession_number` string: The SEC filing accession number.
    - `filing_url` string: URL to the SEC filing.
    - `revenue` SegmentCategory: Segment breakdowns grouped by category.
      - `product` SegmentBreakdown[]: Breakdowns by product line.
        - `label` string: The label for the segment (e.g., 'iPhone', 'Americas').
        - `value` number: The value for the segment.
      - `segment` SegmentBreakdown[]: Breakdowns by business or operating segment.
        - `label` string: The label for the segment (e.g., 'iPhone', 'Americas').
        - `value` number: The value for the segment.
    - `operating_income` SegmentCategory: Segment breakdowns grouped by category.
      - `product` SegmentBreakdown[]: Breakdowns by product line.
        - `label` string: The label for the segment (e.g., 'iPhone', 'Americas').
        - `value` number: The value for the segment.
      - `segment` SegmentBreakdown[]: Breakdowns by business or operating segment.
        - `label` string: The label for the segment (e.g., 'iPhone', 'Americas').
        - `value` number: The value for the segment.
    - `depreciation` SegmentCategory: Segment breakdowns grouped by category.
      - `product` SegmentBreakdown[]: Breakdowns by product line.
        - `label` string: The label for the segment (e.g., 'iPhone', 'Americas').
        - `value` number: The value for the segment.
      - `segment` SegmentBreakdown[]: Breakdowns by business or operating segment.

  - `next_page_url` string: Absolute URL of the next page of results. Present only when more results remain; request it as-is to continue. Each page holds up to 10 records.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `402`: The request requires a paid subscription
- `404`: The specified resource was not found
