# Agent checkout link

`POST /agent/checkout-link`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.financialdatasets.ai`
- URL: `https://api.financialdatasets.ai/agent/checkout-link`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-KEY`

Mint a Stripe Checkout link that funds the account tied to the API key. Give the returned checkout_url to the account owner; they pay in the browser with no login, and the account is credited within seconds. Links expire after 24 hours; mint a fresh one anytime.

## Request body

- AgentCheckoutLinkRequest
  - `amount_to_add` number: Dollars of credit to purchase. Optional; defaults to the $20 minimum.

## Response `200`

Checkout link created.

- AgentCheckoutLinkResponse
  - `checkout_url` string: Stripe Checkout page; give this to the account owner.
  - `amount` number: Dollar amount the link charges.
  - `message` string

## Other responses

- `400`: invalid_amount_to_add: amount_to_add is not numeric or is below the $20 minimum.
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `502`: checkout_link_failed: the payment provider could not create the link. Retry.
