# Create tax table with rates and values

`POST /v1/workflows/tax/tax-table-with-rates-and-values`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.finalpos.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.finalpos.com/v1/workflows/tax/tax-table-with-rates-and-values`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Creates a tax table (use taxTable `without taxRates`; any taxRates on the table body is ignored), nested tax rates (taxTableId set server-side), updates embedded taxRates on the table from rates (optional per-rate `compounding`), then tax rate values (taxRateId set server-side). companyId comes from the API key.

    - `source` string: Source of the tax table.
    - `externalId` string: External provider id for the tax table (e.g. the QuickBooks TaxCode Id). Integration correlation key.
    - `name` string, required: Name of the tax table.
    - `slug` string: Slug identifier for the tax table.
    - `taxRates` object[]: Tax rates applied to the tax table.
    - `isStandard` boolean: Whether this is the standard tax table.
  - `rates` object[], required
    - `taxRate` TaxRateCreateDto, required
      - `name` string, required: Name of the tax rate.
      - `externalId` string: External provider id for the tax rate (e.g. the QuickBooks TaxRate Id). Integration correlation key.
      - `source` string: Origin of the tax rate — the integration provider that created it.
    - `compounding` boolean: When true, this rate is embedded on the tax table with compounding enabled (optional; default false).
    - `values` object[]
      - `outletId` string, required
      - `value` number, required: The tax rate value, example: 15% = 0.15

## Response `201`

Creates a tax table, tax rates with taxTableId set, updates embedded taxRates on the table, then tax rate values. Scoped to the API key company.

    - `outletId` string: Outlet ID this tax rate value applies to.
    - `value` number: Tax rate value (percentage).

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request. Returns validation errors or other request-related errors.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
