# Liveness check

`GET /v1/public/health`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.finalpos.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.finalpos.com/v1/public/health`
- Auth: none required

Returns `{ status: "ok" }` when the service is up. Publicly accessible — no API key required. Intended for uptime monitors and load-balancer health probes.

## Response `200`

Service is up.

  - `status` 'ok', required: Service liveness status. Always `ok` when the response is returned.

## Other responses

- `429`: Rate limit exceeded for the caller IP. Back off and retry after the `retry-after` header.
