# Merge multiple PDFs

`POST /pdf/merge`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.filegraph.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.filegraph.ai/pdf/merge`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Merge multiple PDF files into a single PDF.

Files are merged in the order they are provided.

## Response `200`

PDFs successfully merged

- MergeResponse: Response for PDF merge operation.
  - `filename` string, required: Output filename
  - `content_type` string, required: MIME type of the file
  - `size_bytes` integer, required: File size in bytes
  - `content_base64` string, required: Base64-encoded file content
  - `input_count` integer, required: Number of input PDFs merged
  - `total_pages` integer, required: Total pages in output PDF

## Other responses

- `400`: File format not supported
- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `402`: Insufficient credits for this operation
- `413`: File exceeds size limit
- `422`: File processing failed
- `500`: Unexpected internal error
