# Get file information

`POST /any/info`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.filegraph.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.filegraph.ai/any/info`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Analyze a file and return information about its format, size, and contents.

## Returned Information
- Detected MIME type and format name
- File size
- Page count (for PDFs, PPTX)
- Image dimensions (for images)
- Sheet names (for XLSX)

## Response `200`

File information retrieved

- FileInfoResponse: Response for file info endpoint.
  - `filename` string, required: Original filename
  - `mime_type` string, required: Detected MIME type
  - `format_name` string, required: Human-readable format name
  - `size_bytes` integer, required: File size in bytes
  - `page_count` integer, nullable: Number of pages (for PDFs, PPTX)
  - `dimensions` object, nullable: Image dimensions (width, height)
  - `sheet_names` string[], nullable: Sheet names (for XLSX)

## Other responses

- `400`: File format not supported
- `401`: Invalid or missing API key
- `402`: Insufficient credits for this operation
- `413`: File exceeds size limit
- `422`: Validation Error
- `500`: Unexpected internal error
