# POST /companies/{companySlug}/activities

`POST /companies/{companySlug}/activities`

Creates a new activity

## Request body

- ActivityRequest
  - `name` string, required — Name of the activity (must be unique within the company)
  - `hourlyRate` integer — Default hourly rate in cents (125000 = 1250.00)
  - `productId` integer — ID of the product to use when invoicing this activity (optional)
  - `billable` boolean — Whether time entries with this activity should be billable by default
  - `description` string — Description of the activity (optional)
  - `projectId` integer — ID of the project this activity is associated with (optional)
