# List events

`POST /v1/list_events`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://mcp.fighterapi.com`
- URL: `https://mcp.fighterapi.com/v1/list_events`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Use to find cards. Lists events newest first with the venue, status, number of fights and main event. Filter by season (year) and status (scheduled or final). Costs 1 credit.

## Request body

- object
  - `season` union: Year, e.g. 2025.
    - string
    - number
  - `status` 'scheduled' | 'final': Only upcoming or only completed cards.
  - `limit` integer: Max events (default 50).
  - `offset` integer: Page offset; use next_offset.
  - `league` 'mma' | 'pfl' | 'bellator': League. Defaults to mma. One of: mma, pfl, bellator.

## Response `200`

The result, wrapped in data.

    - `next_offset` number, nullable

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid arguments.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `402`: Not enough credits.
- `429`: Rate limited.
