GALA pattern (arXiv:2508.12472) — instead of a single-pass LLM call, run an iterative evidence-expansion loop over the topology graph. Each round performs (a) next-hop selection, (b) hypothesis update, and (c) termination check. The deterministic hypothesis works without an LLM; when ANTHROPIC_API_KEY is set, the narrative is generated by the LLM while the graph traversal stays deterministic. Reported +42% RCA accuracy versus a single-shot LLM call (GALA paper).
