# Create Invitation

`POST /v1/orgs/invites`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.fettle.sh` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Invite an email address to the active organization at a role.

## Headers

- `X-Organization-Id` string, uuid, nullable

## Request body

- InvitationCreate: Request body for inviting an email at a role (OWNER rejected).
  - `email` string, email, required
  - `role` 'OWNER' | 'ADMIN' | 'MEMBER' | 'VIEWER', required: Membership role of a user within an organization. Distinct from the dormant global ``UserRole`` (account-level template seam). OWNER ⊇ ADMIN plus exclusive actions (delete org, transfer ownership); those exclusive endpoints are enforced in A2. MEMBER = operational CRUD; VIEWER = read-only. Member name == value (UPPER) to match the project enum convention and the persisted DB labels.
