# Update Channel

`PATCH /v1/channels/{channel_id}`

Update a notification channel.

- NotificationChannelUpdate: Request body for ``PATCH /v1/channels/{id}``.

  - `is_active` boolean, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- NotificationChannelRead: Response model for a notification channel. EMAIL rows returned by ``GET /v1/channels`` are synthesised from the authenticated user's email and carry a null ``id`` — they are not stored in the database.

  - `type` 'EMAIL' | 'TELEGRAM' | 'WEBHOOK' | 'SLACK' | 'DISCORD', required: Transport for a user notification channel.
  - `destination` string, required
  - `label` string, nullable, required
