# Update downloadable product metadata

`POST /public/update-downloadable-product-metadata`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://backend.codedamn.com/api`

- Auth: API key in header `FERMION-API-KEY`

Update metadata and settings for a downloadable product

Authentication with the "FERMION-API-KEY" header is required to use this endpoint.

Rate limit: Maximum 60 requests in a window of 1m.

## Request body

      - `productSlug` string, required: Slug of the downloadable product
      - `title` string: Display title for the product
      - `shortDescription` string: Brief description shown on product listing pages
      - `longDescription` string: Detailed description shown on the product page
      - `activeVersionIndex` integer: Index of the version to make active (from process-uploaded-downloadable-product response). Must be an uploaded and processed version.
