# Perp Fund

`POST /v1/perp/fund`

## Request

Fund the perp account from a connected wallet.

## Query parameters

- `wait` boolean: Block until task completes
- `timeout` integer: Seconds to block when wait=true (max 90; the ~100s edge cuts longer waits — use wait=false + poll for longer).

## Request body

- PerpFundRequest
  - `amount` string, required: Amount of the source token in smallest units.
  - `source_chain_id` integer, required: Chain holding the source token (e.g. 8453, 42161).
  - `source_token` string, nullable: ERC-20 address on the source chain, or null for the native gas token.
  - `display_amount_usd` number, nullable: USD amount the user entered (relaxes the post-bridge minimum for typical fee variance).

  - `task_id` string, required: Celery task ID for tracking the async operation.
  - `status` string: Current task status: queued, pending, started.
  - `poll_url` string, nullable: Relative URL to poll for task status.
  - `notification_stream` string, nullable: SSE stream URL for real-time task updates.
