# Fetch the actual dataset rows

`GET /dataset/{id}/data/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://data.ferc.gov` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://data.ferc.gov/dataset/{id}/data/`
- Auth: API key in query parameter `api_key`
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/ferc/apis/api-endpoints/docs/dataset/:id/data/get.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

This endpoint returns all the data for the ID you provide. First, use Data-Assets endpoint to find a valid dataset ID.

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successfully returned list of datasets

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request - Invalid query parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized - Request unsuccessful due to lack of validation
- `404`: Not Found - Dataset ID does not exist
- `405`: Method Not Allowed - Only GET requests are allowed
- `429`: Too Many Requests - Blocked due to multiple requests in a short period
- `500`: Internal Server Error - Database error or server failure
