# Request password reset email

`POST /api/v1/auth/forgot-password`

Always returns the same generic message (no email enumeration). Configure **Resend** (`RESEND_API_KEY`, optional `PASSWORD_RESET_EMAIL_FROM`) to send mail; otherwise the server logs the link in development.
