# Anonymous Vote

`POST /userportal/votes/anonymous`

Cast an anonymous vote on a feature.

This endpoint allows users to vote without logging in.
Requires Turnstile verification (unless disabled in dev mode).
Uses a cookie-based anonymous_id (KSUID) to prevent duplicate votes.

The anonymous_id should be stored in a cookie (f1_anon_id) by the frontend.
If not provided, a new one will be generated and returned.

- AnonymousVoteRequest: Request schema for anonymous voting on a feature.
  - `feature_id` integer, required: Feature pub_id to vote on
  - `anonymous_id` string, nullable: Anonymous user KSUID from cookie (f1_anon_id)
  - `turnstile_token` string, nullable: Cloudflare Turnstile verification token
  - `comment` string, nullable: Optional comment with the vote
  - `subscribe` boolean: Subscribe to feature updates to receive notifications when feature becomes available

  - `success` boolean, required: Whether the vote was recorded
  - `anonymous_id` string, required: Anonymous user KSUID (store in cookie)
  - `feature_id` integer, required: Feature pub_id that was voted on
  - `votes_count` integer, required: Updated vote count for the feature
  - `user_voted` boolean, required: Whether the user has voted for this feature
  - `message` string, nullable: Optional message (e.g., 'Vote removed')
