# Regenerate Api Key

`POST /api-keys/{api_key_id}/regenerate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.feedback1.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.feedback1.ai/api/v1/api-keys/{api_key_id}/regenerate`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Regenerate an API key.

This creates a new key value but keeps the same key ID and metadata.
The old key will immediately stop working.

Returns the new key - store it securely!

## Path parameters

- `api_key_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ApiKeyCreated: Response after creating an API key - includes the full key (only shown once!)
  - `id` string, required
  - `name` string, required
  - `product_id` string, required
  - `product_name` string, nullable: Product name for display
  - `description` string, nullable, required
  - `key` string, required: The full API key - SAVE THIS, it won't be shown again!
  - `key_prefix` string, required: Key prefix for identification
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required
  - `expires_at` string, date-time, nullable, required
