# Delete a contact

`DELETE /accounts/self/contacts/{contact_id}`

## Request

  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2

Delete a contact (Permitted scopes: **fax:all:edit**)

## Path parameters

- `contact_id` string, required

## Response `204`

Contact deleted successfully

- `401`: Error object in case there's a problem with the authorization
- `404`: Requested resource was not found
- `500`: Error object in case there's a server error
