# Download fax file

`GET /accounts/{user_id}/files/{fax_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://restapi.fax.plus/v3`
- URL: `https://restapi.fax.plus/v3/accounts/{user_id}/files/{fax_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `https://accounts.fax.plus/login?response_type=code&client_id=YOUR_CLIENT_ID&redirect_uri=http://localhost&scope=all`
    - Token URL: `https://accounts.fax.plus/token` scopes: `all`
  - HTTP bearer

Download sent or received fax file. (Permitted scopes: **fax:all:read**, **fax:file:read**)

## Path parameters

- `user_id` string, required
- `fax_id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `format` 'tiff' | 'pdf'

## Response `200`

Fax file content in corresponding mimetype e.g. application/pdf

## Other responses

- `400`: Error object in case there's a problem with given data
- `500`: Error object in case there's a server error
