# Discover URLs on a site

`POST /v1/map`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.fastcrw.com`
- URL: `https://api.fastcrw.com/v1/map`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - none

## Request body

- MapRequest
  - `url` string, uri, required
  - `maxDepth` integer: Maximum link-follow depth from the start URL
  - `useSitemap` boolean: Fetch and parse sitemap.xml first
  - `crawlFallback` boolean: Fall back to BFS crawl when sitemap is missing or sparse
  - `timeout` integer: Custom timeout in seconds (default: 120)

## Response `200`

List of URLs

- MapResponse
  - `success` boolean, required
  - `data` object, required
    - `links` string[], required
    - `droppedActionCount` integer
    - `strippedTrackingCount` integer
    - `sitemaps` string[]: Sitemap documents discovered and parsed while mapping the site (e.g. /sitemap.xml, /sitemap_index.xml). Not included in links, because a sitemap file is not a page.
