# Pitch mix

`POST /v1/get_pitch_mix`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://mcp.fastballapi.com`
- URL: `https://mcp.fastballapi.com/v1/get_pitch_mix`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Use for a pitcher's arsenal in a season: each pitch type's usage, average and top velocity, whiff rate per swing and ball rate. Costs 5 credits.

## Request body

- object
  - `pitcher_id` string, required: Player id.
  - `season` union: Season (a year; default: the latest; ignored with game_id).
    - number
    - string

## Response `200`

The result, wrapped in data.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid arguments.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.

- `429`: Rate limited.
