# Send a test event

`POST /v1/me/webhooks/{endpoint_id}/ping`

Deliver a one-off `webhook.ping` to verify the endpoint is wired up.

Successful Response

- WebhookPingOut: Result of a one-shot test delivery.
  - `delivered` boolean, required: Whether the receiver returned 2xx.
  - `status_code` integer, nullable: Receiver's HTTP status.
  - `error` string, nullable: Failure reason, if any.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: Admin or dev-mode credentials cannot use dashboard routes.
- `422`: Validation Error
