# Request an API key by email

`POST /v1/keys/request`

## Request

Sends a one-time magic link to the email address; clicking it issues the key (see `/v1/keys/confirm`). Always returns 202 — the response never reveals whether the address exists.

## Request body

- KeyRequestIn: Body for `POST /v1/keys/request` — the email to send a magic link to.
  - `email` string, email, required: Where to send the API-key link.
  - `location` string, nullable: Optional signup metadata (city, country).
