# Free payment bootstrap (no toll, no provider)

`GET /v1/payments/bootstrap`

Free, provider-free bootstrap primitive. This is the one route that can
never be behind the payment wall, so an agent holding only native Base ETH
can always discover how to obtain access.

Performs NO swap-provider call and is not rate-limited by the payment
toll booth. Informational by default; every mutating action requires an
explicit authenticated POST with a server-issued, purpose-specific
challenge bound to the requesting wallet.
