# Confirm a hotel rate and lock it

`POST /hotels/prepare-booking`

## Request

Takes the booking_token of a room variant from /hotels/search (or /hotels/get-rooms), re-checks availability and price, and opens a booking session for /hotels/create-booking. Returns the confirmed price, whether it changed, the room, the cancellation policy and the guest fields required. Show the policy to the customer before collecting guests.
