# Delete a message as a creator

`DELETE /creators/{creatorUserUuid}/chats/{userUuid}/messages/{messageUuid}`

Delete/unsend a previously sent message from a creator's chat conversation.

Only messages sent by the creator can be deleted. Messages that have been purchased (paid content) cannot be deleted. Mass messages cannot be deleted via this endpoint.

Message deleted successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Message cannot be deleted (e.g., purchased content)
- `401`: Unauthorized Response
- `403`: Unauthorized Response
- `404`: Not Found Response
- `410`: API version no longer supported (sunset)
- `429`: Too many requests - rate limit exceeded
