# Add members to a custom list

`POST /chats/lists/custom/{uuid}/members`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.fanvue.com`

  - Authorization code: `https://auth.fanvue.com/oauth2/auth`

Add one or more users to a custom list. Existing members will be skipped.

## Path parameters

- `uuid` string, uuid, required: Custom list UUID

## Headers

- `X-Fanvue-API-Version` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `userUuids` string[], required: UUIDs of users to add to the list (max 100)

## Response `201`

Members added successfully

- object
  - `added` number, required: Number of members added to the list
  - `skipped` number, required: Number of members skipped (already in list)

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request - API version not supported OR validation failed OR invalid UUID
- `401`: Unauthorized Response
- `403`: Unauthorized Response
- `404`: Custom list not found
- `410`: API version no longer supported (sunset)
- `429`: Too many requests - rate limit exceeded
