# Send SMS

`POST /user/sms`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.famulor.de/api`
- URL: `https://app.famulor.de/api/user/sms`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Send an SMS message using your Famulor phone number via API. Trigger transactional or follow-up texts after AI voice calls, lead capture or campaigns.

## Request body

- object
  - `from` integer, required: The ID of your phone number from which the SMS will be sent (must be SMS-capable)
  - `to` string, required: The recipient's phone number in international format (e.g., "+4915123456789")
  - `body` string, required: The SMS message content (max. 300 characters)

## Response `200`

Sent Successfully

- object
  - `message` string: Success message confirming that the SMS was sent
  - `data` object: Additional data about the sent SMS
  - `400 Bad Request` object
    - `message` string: Error message describing the issue (invalid phone number, insufficient balance, etc.)
  - `500 Internal Server Error` object
    - `message` string: Error message indicating a failure in sending the SMS
    - `error` string: Detailed error information

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Fehlender oder ungültiger API-Key.
- `422`: Die Anfrage ist inhaltlich ungültig.
- `500`: Server Error
