# Update campaign status

`POST /user/campaigns/update-status`

## Request

Start or stop a call, WhatsApp, or SMS campaign via API. Starting validates channel config, schedule, and balance.

## Request body

- object
  - `campaign_id` integer, required: The ID of the campaign to update
  - `action` string, required: `start` or `stop`

## Response `200`

OK

  - `message` string: Human-readable outcome
  - `success` boolean: Whether the operation succeeded
  - `data` object
    - `campaign_id` integer: Campaign ID
    - `status` string: New status (e.g. `in-progress`, `paused`)
    - `channel` string: `call`, `whatsapp`, or `sms`

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Fehlender oder ungültiger API-Key.
- `404`: Campaign not found
- `422`: Die Anfrage ist inhaltlich ungültig.
