# Create Genealogies Tree

`POST /genealogies/trees`

Create a genealogies tree in the user-submitted genealogies.

## Headers

## Request body

- CreateGenealogiesTree
  - `sourceDescriptions` object[], required: Array containing exactly one source description for the tree to be created. See <a href="https://developers.familysearch.org/main/docs/json-schema#sourcedescription" target="_blank">SourceDescription Schema (JSON)</a>
    - `titles` object[], required: Array of title objects describing the tree.
      - `value` string, required: The title text for the tree.

## Response `201`

The creation of the genealogies tree was successful. Expect a location header specifying the link to the created tree.

## Other responses

- `429`: The request was throttled.
