# Create Person Memory

`POST /tree/persons/{pid}/memories`

## Request

Create a memory for a person. The memory can be a photo, document, story, or obituary.

- `pid` string, required

- `personName` string

## Request body `multipart/form-data`

- CreatePersonMemory
  - `artifact` string, binary, required: The memory file to upload (photo, document, story, or obituary)

## Response `201`

The attachment of the artifact was successful. Expect a location header specifying the link to the created artifact.

## Other responses

- `429`: The request was throttled.
