# Get Source Description Changes

`POST /sources/descriptions/changes`

## Request

Get a list of source description ids that have changed since the specified timestamp.

## Request body

- GetSourceDescriptionChanges
  - `sourceDescriptions` object[], required: Array containing the source descriptions to check for changes. A maximum of 100 source descriptions is allowed. See <a href="https://developers.familysearch.org/main/docs/json-schema#sourcedescription" target="_blank">SourceDescription Schema (JSON)</a>
    - `id` string, required: The ID of the source description to check for changes. To find source description IDs, see <a href="/reference/readusersourcedescriptions" target="_blank">Read User Source Descriptions</a>, or <a href="/reference/createsourcedescription" target="_blank">Create Source Description</a> to create a new source description.

## Response `200`

A list of source descriptions (each with an id) that have changed was returned. See <a href="https://developers.familysearch.org/main/docs/json-schema#sourcedescription" target="_blank">SourceDescription Schema (JSON)</a>

## Other responses

- `204`: None of the specified source descriptions has changed.
- `400`: Indicates that the request could not be understood by the application, possibly due to malformed syntax or invalid parameters.
- `429`: The request was throttled.
