# Compute Metrics

`GET /compute/metrics`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.fal.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://api.fal.ai/v1/compute/metrics`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Returns Prometheus-compatible metrics for an active compute cluster owned by the authenticated caller. Requires compute access and compute:instances:read permission. Use the compute_cluster query parameter to select the cluster by label.

**Required permissions:** `compute:instances:read`. Key presets that include them: `COMPUTE`, `READONLY`, `FULL`. See [key permissions](https://fal.ai/docs/documentation/model-apis/authentication/key-based#permissions).

## Query parameters

- `compute_cluster` string, required: The label of the compute cluster owned by the caller

## Response `200`

Prometheus-compatible compute metrics retrieved successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Access denied
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
