# Get the signature

`GET /mailboxes/{address}/signature`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://faivelo.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://faivelo.com/api/v1/mailboxes/{address}/signature`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The HTML signature the mailbox's outgoing mail carries (webmail and the API add it; mail apps do not). When the domain enforces a signature template, `enforced` is true, `signatureHtml` is the rendered template and the signature cannot be changed per mailbox. Requires scope `mail:read`.

The signature

- object
  - `success` boolean
  - `data` Signature
    - `signatureHtml` string: HTML; empty when there is none
    - `enforced` boolean: True when the domain's signature template applies and the signature cannot be set per mailbox

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `402`: The account's plan does not include the API (`plan_required`)
- `403`: The key lacks the required scope
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
