# Mark a message as spam

`POST /mailboxes/{address}/messages/{uid}/spam`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://faivelo.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://faivelo.com/api/v1/mailboxes/{address}/messages/{uid}/spam`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Moves the message to the Junk/Spam folder. Requires scope `mail:write`.

## Response `200`

Marked as spam

- object
  - `success` boolean
  - `data` SpamResponse: Confirmation that a message was marked as spam
    - `moved` boolean
    - `destination` string: The folder the message was moved to

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `402`: The account's plan does not include the API (`plan_required`)
- `403`: The key lacks the required scope
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
