# Move a message

`POST /mailboxes/{address}/messages/{uid}/move`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://faivelo.com/api/v1`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Moves a message from one folder to another. Requires scope `mail:write`.

## Path parameters

- `address` string, required
- `uid` union, required
  - integer
  - string

## Request body

- MoveRequest: Request body for moving a message between folders
  - `destination` string, required: Target folder path
  - `folder` string: Source folder (defaults to `INBOX`)

## Response `200`

Message moved

- object
  - `success` boolean
  - `data` MovedResponse: Confirmation that a message was moved
    - `moved` boolean

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `402`: The account's plan does not include the API (`plan_required`)
- `403`: The key lacks the required scope
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
