# Download an attachment

`GET /mailboxes/{address}/messages/{uid}/attachment`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the raw file bytes with the appropriate Content-Type header. Requires scope `mail:read`.

## Response `200`

The attachment file

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `402`: The account's plan does not include the API (`plan_required`)
- `403`: The key lacks the required scope
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
