# Create a customer

`POST /customers`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://faivelo.com/api/partner`
- URL: `https://faivelo.com/api/partner/customers`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create an end customer. The customer gets no password and no dashboard by design; you operate the account through this API and they use the webmail. Both attestation flags must be `true`. Refused with **403** while your partner account is paused or the customer cap is reached. Requires `partner:write`.

- CreatePartnerCustomerRequest
  - `email` string, email, required
  - `name` string, nullable
  - `companyName` string, nullable
  - `plan` 'STARTER' | 'GROWTH' | 'PRO' | 'BUSINESS': The plan the customer's domains take when you add them without one. Defaults to your partner account's default plan
  - `attestation` object, required: Recorded per customer under your resale agreement. Both must be literally true.
    - `firstPartyListsOnly` true, required: The customer only emails people who asked to hear from them
    - `termsAcceptedOnBehalf` true, required: You accepted the end-customer terms on their behalf

    - `sandbox` boolean: Created in test mode: never provisioned, billed or emailed, erased after 30 days

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid input
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key, or not a partner key
- `403`: The key lacks the required scope, or provisioning is refused (partner paused, customer cap reached)
- `404`: Not found, including any customer that is not yours
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
