# Create a price alert (double opt-in)

`POST /v1/alerts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.fairly.gg`
- URL: `https://api.fairly.gg/v1/alerts`
- Auth: none declared

Sends a confirmation email. Always answers 202 for a valid request, whether or not the address is already registered. `game_id` is a Steam AppID or `igdb:N`; `edition` defaults to `standard`; `region` defaults to the region of `currency`. No API key; limited per IP and per address.
