# Create a new place type

`POST /types/places`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.faireplace.com/api`
- URL: `https://api.faireplace.com/api/types/places`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a new place type in the system.
This operation requires write permissions on properties.

## Request body

- CreatePlaceType: Data for creating a new place type
  - `name` string, required: Name of the place type to create

## Response `201`

Place type created successfully

- PlaceType: Place type (e.g., Apartment building, Detached house, Commercial premises)
  - `id` string, uuid, nullable, required: Unique identifier of the place type
  - `name` string, nullable, required: Place type name
  - `created_at` string, date-time, nullable, required: Creation date and time
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, nullable, required: Last modification date and time

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `409`: Conflict
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity
- `500`: Internal Server Error
