# Create a new equipment type

`POST /types/equipment`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.faireplace.com/api`
- URL: `https://api.faireplace.com/api/types/equipment`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a new equipment type in the system.
This operation requires write permissions on properties.

## Request body

- CreateEquipmentType: Data for creating a new equipment type
  - `name` string, required: Name of the equipment type to create

## Response `201`

Equipment type created successfully

- EquipmentType: Equipment type available in a property (e.g., Heating, Air conditioning, Elevator, etc.)
  - `id` string, uuid, nullable, required: Unique identifier of the equipment type
  - `name` string, nullable, required: Equipment type name
  - `created_at` string, date-time, nullable, required: Creation date and time
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, nullable, required: Last modification date and time

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `409`: Conflict
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity
- `500`: Internal Server Error
