# Create a new lessee

`POST /lessees`

Creates a new lessee in the system

## Request body

- CreateLessee: Data for creating a new lessee
  - `category` 'individual' | 'company/other' | 'guarantor', required: Lessee category
  - `title` string: Title (Mr., Mrs., etc.)
  - `first_name` string: First name (required for individuals)
  - `last_name` string: Last name
  - `legal_name` string: Legal name (required for companies)
  - `birth_date` string, date, nullable: Date of birth
  - `birth_place` string: Place of birth
  - `email` string, email, required: Email address
