# Get reference rent for a quarter and parameters

`GET /legislative-zones/rent-control/reference-rent`

## Request

Retrieve reference rent values (loyer de référence, majoré, minoré) for a specific quarter, room count, construction period, furnishing status, and year.

## Query parameters

- `quarter` string, required
- `room_count` integer, required
- `construction_period` 'avant 1946' | '1946-1970' | '1971-1990' | '1991-2005' | 'après 2005', required: Construction period of the dwelling, as used by the French rent-control reference data. The values carry **accents and spaces** and are sent verbatim: they are the labels of the official reference tables, not identifiers. Percent-encode them when they travel in a query string.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Every endpoint sits behind a plan-aware limiter, and the public tools carry an additional per-endpoint one. `error.details.retry_after_seconds` says how long to wait; the `Retry-After`, `X-RateLimit-Limit` and `X-RateLimit-Remaining` headers carry the same information.
- `500`: Internal Server Error
