# Apply a rent revision

`PUT /leases/{lease_id}/rent-revisions/{revision_id}/apply`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Applies a previously recorded rent revision to the lease, updating its active rent
to the revision's `new_amount`.

Revision applied successfully

- ApplyRevisionResponse: Confirmation returned after applying a recorded rent revision to the lease.
  - `message` string, required: Human-readable confirmation message.
  - `revision_id` string, uuid, required: Identifier of the revision that was applied.
  - `lease_id` string, uuid, required: Identifier of the lease whose rent was updated.

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not found
- `500`: Internal Server Error
