# Update a validation entry (approve/reject)

`PUT /leases/{lease_id}/amendments/{amendment_id}/validations/{validation_id}`

## Request

Update the status of a validation entry. Typically used to approve or reject.
Set `status` to `APPROVED` or `REJECTED`, and provide `validated_by` with the user ID.

- `amendment_id` string, uuid, required
- `validation_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- UpdateAmendmentValidationDto: Data for updating a validation entry (approve/reject)
  - `status` 'PENDING' | 'APPROVED' | 'REJECTED': New validation status
  - `validated_by` string, uuid, nullable: ID of the user performing the validation
  - `validation_date` string, date-time, nullable: Validation date (defaults to now)
  - `comments` string, nullable: Validator comments

## Response `200`

Validation entry updated

- AmendmentValidationResponse: Amendment validation entry: tracks approval by a specific role
  - `id` string, uuid, required: Unique identifier of the validation entry
  - `amendment_id` string, uuid, required: Associated amendment ID
  - `validator_role` 'LEGAL' | 'FINANCIAL' | 'PROPERTY_MANAGER' | 'OWNER' | 'TENANT', required: Role of the validator
  - `validation_order` integer, required: Order in the validation workflow (1 = first)
  - `is_mandatory` boolean, required: Whether this validation is required for amendment activation
  - `status` 'PENDING' | 'APPROVED' | 'REJECTED', required: Current validation status
  - `validation_date` string, date-time, nullable: When the validation was performed
  - `validated_by` string, uuid, nullable: ID of the user who validated
  - `comments` string, nullable: Validator comments

## Other responses
