# Validate a charge reading

`GET /charges/readings/{reading_id}/validate`

## Request

Validate a specific charge reading against historical data.
Returns validation issues and recommendations.

## Path parameters

- `reading_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Validation result

- ReadingValidationResult: Result of validating a charge reading against historical data
  - `is_valid` boolean: Whether the reading passes validation
  - `issues` string[]: List of validation issues found
  - `recommendations` string[]: Suggested actions to resolve issues
  - `historical_average` number, double, nullable: Average of previous readings for comparison
  - `deviation_percentage` number, double, nullable: How much the reading deviates from average
