# List task activity

`GET /companies/{company}/tasks/{task}/activities`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.factuarea.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.factuarea.com/v1/companies/{company}/tasks/{task}/activities`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

List the activity log of a task, newest first: status and column changes, edits (with the changed fields), assignments, labels, comments, relations, attachments and time, each with its actor (`user`, `api_key`, `external` or `system`). Cursor-paginated with an OPAQUE cursor: pass the `next_cursor` back as `starting_after` untouched —activity entries have no `id` of their own.

## Path parameters

- `company` string, uuid, required
- `task` string, uuid, required

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer
- `starting_after` string

## Headers

- `Factuarea-Version` string, date

## Response `200`

- object: Page of activity entries of a task, newest first (`{ data, has_more, next_cursor }`).
  - `data` object[], required: Items on the current page.
    - `object` 'task_activity', required: Stripe-like discriminator. Always `task_activity` for this resource.
    - `task_id` string, uuid, required: UUID of the task.
    - `type` string, required: What happened (`task_created`, `task_status_changed`, `task_comment_created`…).
    - `actor` object, required: Who did it.
      - `type` 'user' | 'api_key' | 'external' | 'system', required: A member, an API key, a code forge or the system.
      - `id` string, uuid, nullable, required: UUID of the member, or `null`.
      - `name` string, nullable, required: Display name of the actor, or `null`.
    - `occurred_at` string, date-time, required: When it happened.
    - `data` object, required: Details of the change (previous and new values), depending on `type`.
  - `has_more` boolean, required: `true` when there are older entries.
  - `next_cursor` string, nullable, required: OPAQUE cursor to pass back as `starting_after` untouched, or `null`. It is not a UUID: activity entries have no `id`.

## Other responses

- `400`: `parameter_unknown` with `subcode` `retired_active_profile_header`: the retired `X-Active-Profile` header was sent; the company goes in the path. `parameter_invalid_format` on `Factuarea-Version`: the header is not a `YYYY-MM-DD` date. `unsupported_api_version`: the `Factuarea-Version` date is not a supported version.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: The request is authenticated but not allowed: the API key lacks the required scope (`insufficient_scope`), the plan does not include the public API or this feature (`addon_not_active`, `feature_not_available_in_plan`), or the module is not available with a test key (`module_not_available_in_sandbox`).
- `404`: The requested resource does not exist or belongs to another company.
- `422`: Validation failed. The `error.param` field identifies which input is invalid.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Retry after the duration in `Retry-After`.
- `500`: Unexpected server error.
