# Preview the provisioning of a managed account

`GET /accounts/provisioning-preview`

## Request

Preview, with no effect, provisioning a NEW managed account of the `plan` in the query: what is charged today and the monthly fee after.
- Amounts are integer cents; nothing is created or charged, so no `Idempotency-Key` is needed.
- With a `fact_test_` key every amount is 0.
- Requires the privileged `accounts:read` scope.

- object
  - `data` ManagedAccountProvisioningPreview, required: Preview, with no effect, of provisioning a new managed account of the requested plan for your account. A computed object with no identity. Amounts are integer CENTS and the key names the unit (`*_cents`): `amount_cents` is the taxable base charged today, `tax_amount_cents` its VAT and `total_cents` what is charged. When something is charged but the VAT could not be computed (the payment gateway returned no rate), `tax_rate`, `tax_amount_cents` and `total_cents` are all `null`: the base is never published as the total. With a test key every amount is 0.
    - `object` 'managed_account_provisioning_preview', required: Always `managed_account_provisioning_preview`.
    - `amount_cents` integer, required: Taxable base (without VAT) charged today, in cents.
    - `tax_amount_cents` integer, nullable, required: VAT of `amount_cents`, in cents. `null` when something is charged but no rate could be computed.
    - `total_cents` integer, nullable, required: `amount_cents` plus `tax_amount_cents`: what is charged, in cents. `null` when the VAT could not be computed: do not present `amount_cents` as the total.
    - `tax_rate` integer, nullable, required: Whole-number VAT percentage, or `null` when no rate can be computed.
    - `currency` string, required: ISO 4217 currency code, lower case.
    - `next_invoice_date` string, date-time, nullable, required: Date of the next periodic invoice of your subscription (ISO 8601), or `null`.
    - `unit_amount_cents` integer, nullable, required: Monthly price of the requested plan, without VAT, in cents, or `null`.
    - `is_first_seat` boolean, required: `true` when this provisioning creates the subscription and anchors the monthly billing day today.
    - `recurring_quantity` integer, nullable, required: Units of the joint monthly fee that follows (your whole book plus the requested plan), or `null`.
    - `recurring_base_cents` integer, nullable, required: Joint monthly fee that follows, taxable base, in cents, or `null`.
    - `recurring_total_cents` integer, nullable, required: Joint monthly fee that follows with VAT, in cents; `null` without a VAT rate.
    - `requires_payment_method` boolean, required: `true` when the charge is real and your account has no payment method; the amounts are then 0.
    - `requires_active_plan` boolean, required: Always `false` in this preview.
    - `included_in_trial` boolean, required: Always `false` in this preview.
    - `already_covered` boolean, required: Always `false` in this preview.
    - `zero_reason` string, nullable, required: Why nothing is charged today: `no_immediate_charge` (test key or no real charge). `null` when something is charged.

## Other responses

- `400`: `parameter_unknown` with `subcode` `retired_active_profile_header`: the retired `X-Active-Profile` header was sent; the company goes in the path. `parameter_invalid_format` on `Factuarea-Version`: the header is not a `YYYY-MM-DD` date. `unsupported_api_version`: the `Factuarea-Version` date is not a supported version.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: The request is authenticated but not allowed: the API key lacks the required scope (`insufficient_scope`), the plan does not include the public API or this feature (`addon_not_active`, `feature_not_available_in_plan`), or the module is not available with a test key (`module_not_available_in_sandbox`).
- `422`: Validation failed, or a managed account rule rejected the operation: `managed_account_plan_not_self_serve` (`enterprise` is only assigned by Factuarea by contract), `managed_account_provider_in_trial` (a paid plan while your account is in trial), `managed_accounts_limit_reached` (the managed account limit of your account), `managed_account_not_claimable` (a test account has no claim voucher), `access_level_raise_forbidden` (once the holder claimed the account only the holder can raise your level), `enterprise_contract_transition_required` (moving to or from `enterprise` is a contract change) and `business_rule_violation` with subcode `nif_already_claimed_by_another_account` (provisioning a tax ID that already belongs to another account). The `error.param` field identifies which input is invalid, if any.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Retry after the duration in `Retry-After`.
- `500`: Unexpected server error.
- `503`: The price of the managed account plan could not be verified. Retry the preview; an unavailable amount is never a free purchase.
